Call of Duty 2 is out!

The sequel to one of the best shooters ever is finally out! Yea yea its kinda inapropriate posting this up now with AS going on but I just want to say - this game is fantastic! Better than the first one in almost every aspect. I said almost because one particular thing about this game is kinda lame - It uses a Halo-esque regenerative health system.. WTH?? Its totally fine in Halo coz Master Chief is a Spartan Super Soldier wearing MJOLNIR Mark V power armor, but in CoD2, youre playing as a regular soldier (a private).

But whatever, one shortcoming cant ruin a game! Apart from that flaw, the rest of the game is just awesome. The gun battles are intense and realistic. Theres close quarters combat, large open space environment, cool looking cutscenes, and i'm only around an hour into the game! Just finished downloading it (3.5GB) hehe..

The Minimum Requirements are pretty low too(well, relatively la, if compared to other power hungry games out there).
- 3D Hardware Accelerator Card Required - 100% DirectX(R) 9.0c compatible 64 MB Hardware Accelerator video card and the latest drivers
- English version of Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000/XP
- Pentium(R) 4 1.4GHz or AMD Athlon(TM) XP 1700+
- 256 MB RAM (512 MB RAM recommended)
- DirectX(R) 9.0c (included)
- 100% DirectX(R) 9.0c compatible 16-bit sound card and latest drivers.
- 100% Windows(R) 2000/XP compatible mouse, keyboard and latest drivers
- 4Gb of HD space

I have no trouble playing it on High Detail / 800x600 / 4x FSAA/ Trilinear Filter.

My specs - Prescott P4 3.0 Ghz (OCed to 3.4), 512MB DDR400 RAM, ATI Radeon 9600Pro 128MB (Clock and memory speed OCed)

I'll get my new gaming-spec PC(AMD FX-55 with GF 7800GTX) after AS WOOHOO! Bring on Hi-Res games!

Those scumbags in the gaming industry are damn cruel la. Now I'm halfway through Quake 4, still struggling to find the right config for F.E.A.R., and now Call of Duty 2... How to pass AS??
