Redang Trip (Day Three)

Early in the morning, everyone woke up late. It was raining again at 5am, so we didn't manage to watch sunrise again. We rushed so much, but luckily we still made it in time.

<------- At the jetty. Bye bye Laguna.
Michelle, me and Shirley in the ferry.

We ended up having lunch at a not-so-nice shop opposite the bus station. They sold only stuff like nasi dagang, nasi kunyit and nasi minyak (I don't know what's the difference between all of that). Seriously, PE1 has this weird liking for cutleries.

See Tho, Jieqiang, Shaun, a FORK and a SPOON. Again. Lol.

Finally, we were in the bus. That's Sao Lee, Keat Wei and Shirley at the backseat.

I don't know what place is this. The funny thing is, Michelle got the same guy who took a picture for us at the jetty to take this pic for us. He must be thinking, "What a weird bunch of people..."

Shirley, Sao Lee n Jieqiang, at the stop.

Shaun pretending to be like the guy on his More More Tea 'songkok'.

Finally, we reached KL. Then we went to Kenny Rogers at The Mall for dinner. See what I meant when I said about PE1's affinity for cutleries??

Kenny presents Kenny Rogers Roasters - World's Greatest Chicken!

So, yeah, everyone went home after that. The end of the short but wonderful 3 days.

Last but not least, this is a picture that Kim Hong did.

We did sleep quite a lot during that 3 days after all...

Redang Trip (Day Two)

As I said, we didn't wake up at 5am to watch sunrise, as it was raining. At 6am, Kim Hong, Han Hui, Jieqiang, Sao Lee, Keat Wei, Michelle and I went to the beach although it was drizzling. We sat there for so long but didn't manage to see the sunrise. As Michelle said, we woke up so early just to see the whole sky go bright. Lol.

Kim Hong, Jieqiang and Han Hui in front of the More More Tea Inn.

We then went snorkelling at the Marine Park. It was nice =) I remember there was this scary looking eel which kept opening and closing its super huge mouth nonstop.

This is one of the many distorted pics the guys took.

Long live PE1!!!

We were trying to do a nicer formation but it didn't reli work out. But it was so nice to lie on water! The guys went "moo....." when they saw us do this. Lol I forgot why.

And finally, after a lot of effort......we managed to bring Shirley up and completed our formation. Yay =)

See Tho the odd one out.

The long line of PE1-ians in the water. Love this pic!

We were trying to look like castaways who finally made it to the shore. Didn't really work out because we were laughing too happily eh?

After dinner...We took a look at ourselves, and saw that there was a group of us wearing white...

.....and another group wearing red! And Keat Wei and I wore the Taylor's shirt.

The two ex-lougongs posing with the More More Tea Inn sign.

We blocked the whole stairway that led to another resort. Typical of PE1 to block people's way isn't it? =p

As we were walking around, we found Wai Ken's cave...LOL

Then, we went to the games room.

Some of us went walking around the beach later at night (or probably it was already morning), while some slept. This is the squid we saw on the Redang Bay beach. It was struggling away, then someone threw it back to the sea, but after some time we saw it again. Lol...

And then...we finally saw the glowing planktons. Everyone was busy collecting it. We wanted to show it to the rest, but sadly it stopped glowing after some time, and they were all fast asleep when we got back.

We had planned to not to sleep. But I guess by 4plus everyone gave up. We wanted to wake up at 5am to see the sunrise, which once again, did not happen....

....to be continued

Redang Trip (Day One)

Since I am free, I shall post on our Redang trip. Feel free to add on more stuff :p

And.......this is what we did on day one.

11 excited (or sleepy?)faces, on the way to Kuala Terengganu. Ren Yin and Keat Wei had the pleasure of flying there. Hehe. I don't know which stop it was. The "Mara Liner" thing looks reli cool =) The real thing didn't look like that though.

We reached the Kuala Terengganu bus stop really early. Guess this explains why the bus ride was terrifying for those sitting in front. One thing to note, the public toilets in Terengganu are horrible! We had to pay for every single one of them, some 30cents, and the condidtion is really bad. We sat at a mamak shop (I think it was the only one open), and waited until the bus could take us to the jetty.

Michelle, Shirley and Ren Yin, at the jetty.

The guys, in the ferry.

And finally, we were at Laguna. =) This is a pic we took outside the place where we took all our meals. Oops a small boy walked in at the wrong time.

Then, we went snorkelling in the afternoon. And when we came back, this is what we did!

Lol..we buried Jieqiang. Being so 'artistic' and creative', we made a lot of 'interesting' features for him. He had, um, a very nice finger (credits to Shaun), tail, and something else which everyone spent a lot of time perfecting, lol. Turned him into a mermaid (yeah,
not merman)

Then...we buried Wai Ken! We made him look exactly like Sunway Pyramid (imagine the lion head in the place of his head...lol) And we all stood around him and put our feet on him. He just posed for the pic, and never knew what hit him...haha

Dinner time.

Then at night, we went to the beach again. They said there's some kind of tradition. ----> This is what friends do when they go to the beach. (Notice a flaw in the pic =p)

Still at the beach.

I think we all slept early that night because everyone was tired, and we planned to wake up at 5am to watch sunrise, which never happened in the end....

.......to be continued

PS: I miss Redang so much.......

The Salary Theorem

Urm.. I think i've forwarded this message to some of you all. I'm posting this here so that you will be able to leave comments and then for those ppl who didn't receive the e-mail(This was sent to my Yahoo! Mail. I don't have some of your e-mails yet in my Yahoo account. Sorry.). First of all, no offence to those who want to be scientist or engineers in future. Just a joke.

The Salary Theorem:

Everyone knows the Salary Theorem establishes that scientists and engineers can NEVER EVER earn as much as businessman, politicians and actors easily make.
This Theorem can be demonstrated by reducing it to a simple mathematical equation:

The equation rests on two postulates:
Postulate No.1 - Knowledge is Power
Postulate No.2 - Time is Money

Given that
Power = Work/Time

and because
Knowledge = Power
Time = Money

therefore we have
Knowledge = Work/Money

and then we can easily obtain
Money = Work/Knowledge

So when knowledge goes towards zero, money go towards infinity, regardless of the value attributed to work, even if the value is very small.
On the contrary, when knowledge goes towards infinity, money goes towards zero, even if the value of work is high.

The evident conclusion : The less you know, the more money you make

Menghayati balik B.M....

My guess is that u guyz haf not been in touch with our beautiful national language for a long time dy so, I'm bored now, waitin for the world cup finals and was surfin around and found this. It's now time to appreciate and refresh back our BM language thru these simple yet amazing literatures and phrases....enjoy.

Salam sejahtera,
"Satu kajian menunjukkan kaum wanita lebih gagah daripada lelaki kerana mampu membawa dua buah gunung, kaum lelaki hanya mampu membawa dua biji telur, itupun dengan bantuan seekor burung.....!!!!."

AKHIR KATA,
JINAK-JINAK BURUNG MERPATI,
JINAK LAGI BURUNG SENDIRI,
BURUNG MERPATI DIDEKAT LARI,
BURUNG SENDIRI DIPEGANG BERDIRI.

Tetapi kegagahan & kecerdikan kaum lelaki membawa telur
kemana-mana tidak pecah memang satu keajaiban.. renungkanlahhh..

Nasib orang lelaki...
Mandi lambat, bini marah,
Bangun lambat, bini marah,
Balik lambat, bini marah,
Pancut lambat aje bini suka!!!
