Rome Total War's expansion, Barbarian Invasion's out!

YESSS!!!!! The game is finally out!!!! I borrowed a pirated copy of it from my friend and got addicted to the game. Yup, spent lot's of hours and hours on it (Shit, hopefully it won't affect my AS and my SAT) I can say that the game is really really fantastic!! Those of you who like strategy games should really try this game.

Urm, since i'm not really good at writing game reviews, i've actually cut and coppied some reviews from other sites. This one is from Total War's official website :

We’re delighted to announce that Barbarian Invasion, the official expansion pack for Rome: Total War, has sacked all opposition and gone straight in at number one in the PC Games chart after its first week on sale. And that’s not all. Rome: Total War itself has also rocketed up the charts to number 8 giving us two titles in the top 10. We’d like to thank all the fans who have helped us achieve these chart positions. As for those out there who’ve yet to get their copy of Barbarian Invasion - just what are you waiting for?

"The first thing noticeable about the game is its graphical beauty"Wargamer

Here's another review from one of the fans which i quite agree with:

Overall: Barbarian Invasion (BI) is even better than the original Rome: Total War (RTW). BI has replaced RTW as my favorite Strategy Game ever. It's that good. BI is deep, difficult (unless you play on easy), and a much more balanced than RTW. And most of all, it makes for a more fun experience, as you constantly have to be on your toes no matter what, because BI has a few more tricks up its sleeves than RTW.
Graphics: It's difficult to give an accurate graphics rating for a PC game, because the settings and hardware can have a drastic impact on graphics. However, even at the bare minimum, the landscapes and cities are still quite impressive. Wooden bridges have knots in the wood, stone highways have cracks, and wooden palisades are not uniform in height. All and all, BI has plenty of details, and the characters get done what they need to, even on the most stripped down graphics (which I use, because my computer is outdated). 9/10
Gameplay: Much has changed in the 350 years since RTW. No longer are the Romans the swift, ferocious, and mighty empire they once were. No longer do their warriors strike fear into the most courageous of barbarian warlords. BI reflects these changes. The Senate is gone (By the time of BI, they existed in name only), and the 3 Roman families have been replaced by the two splintered parts of The Roman Empire, the East and the West. This makes for a much more different game, as these two sides are a lot less friendly to each other than the Julii, Brutii, Scipii, and Senate were. They may attack each other at any time.
Also, the Barbarian factions have been beefed up considerably. They can now build much more, and can also form hordes in case of emergencies. Hordes are a new feature to Rome: Total War. A horde is started by sacking a faction's final town, and moving the entire population. Horde soldiers are not paid, but a Horde can not last very long without a place to live. In fact, if all the horde soldiers are killed, then the faction is essentially out of the game, unless the manage to capture a large city using only their professional forces. Once a Horde faction captures a city, all the capturing horde members are disbanded and join the population. This means you can take a few boats, form a Horde, and save your faction from destruction by fleeing across an ocean or sea. While you can march to a new home as well, it generally proves more difficult, as you may get your Horde Soldiers killed. The Horde function, along with the new building abilities of the barbarian factions, makes every faction dangerous if it gets large enough, making BI much more difficult, because a Horde can flee across the Sea, and gather enough strength to come back and stomp you into the ground if you aren't careful.
The second new feature is the Revolution. Rebel Factions, separate from local rebels who simply take a settlement and leave you alone, may form if the conditions are right. These factions are much more militant, and Generals from the former controlling faction may even join them! These rebel factions can even replace their former masters as an empire, and are a very serious threat to all players, if they go unchecked. They also add another stress for Roman factions.
The third major change with gameplay is the massive expansion of religion. There are three overall faiths in BI: Paganism, Zoroastrianism, and Christianity. They play a much greater part in life than religions in RTW did. Not only do they still provide bonuses from before, but religious strife can now cause extreme problems in some towns. If a Pagan town is suddenly flooded with Christians, the results are not good for public order. You can try to convert a town, but that only happens so fast. When all three basic faiths have strong presence in a settlement, the results can be disastrous. The new clashing religions make for a much deeper experience, an area where RTW started to lack after a while.
Overall, BI is worth it on Gameplay alone. 10/10
Sound: Swords grind against shields, hooves pound against the dirt, arrows whoosh by, and the general gives a speech before battle. The sound is well done, and there's not much else to say about it. 9/10
Controls: Very simple. Unless you're using a very sophisticated battle strategy, or trying to manage a dozen different unit types on several fronts, you won't have any trouble. And, you can always pause battle to issue orders more quickly, or target a lone enemy on the run. The controls are efficient and intuitive. 9.5/10
Overall, you definitely should get BI if you already have RTW. BI is an expansion, so it needs RTW to operate. But both games are different experiences, so purchasing both for a mere $80 is no big loss in the long run. You'll enjoy both for hours, and they last a VERY long time
.

Final word's from me, if u can't handle addiction well, try to get this game only after you have finished your AS. Err, that's all i've got to say about this game, I think.

enjoy

Knife of Dreams!!!

Knife of Dreams, book 11 of the Wheel of Time series is out!!!

I don't expect anyone other than Hafriz or Fu-khate to have heard of this book though. If anyone else reads this series (Wheel of Time series) please let me know ok? Then I can steal your books after AS and reread them :P

I knew it had been released in the US.. but i thought it'd take a while before it came out in Malaysia, but fu-khate said its out already!! So, I called MPH and reserved it and will collect it at six TODAY!!

OMG OMG I can't wait to read it... and I know that once I start reading it I won't put it down until I finish it!! CRAZY!!

How to pass AS like this????

CRAZY!!!! But i can probably finish it by today so won't waste that much time la.

Hope so ;)

corpse bride

i cant write a movie review but i can onli say tis show is not as nice as i tot it would be. its quite predictable. my advice is dun watch tis show unless really ntg else to watch or u've watched all the other shows.

Call of Duty 2 is out!

The sequel to one of the best shooters ever is finally out! Yea yea its kinda inapropriate posting this up now with AS going on but I just want to say - this game is fantastic! Better than the first one in almost every aspect. I said almost because one particular thing about this game is kinda lame - It uses a Halo-esque regenerative health system.. WTH?? Its totally fine in Halo coz Master Chief is a Spartan Super Soldier wearing MJOLNIR Mark V power armor, but in CoD2, youre playing as a regular soldier (a private).

But whatever, one shortcoming cant ruin a game! Apart from that flaw, the rest of the game is just awesome. The gun battles are intense and realistic. Theres close quarters combat, large open space environment, cool looking cutscenes, and i'm only around an hour into the game! Just finished downloading it (3.5GB) hehe..

The Minimum Requirements are pretty low too(well, relatively la, if compared to other power hungry games out there).
- 3D Hardware Accelerator Card Required - 100% DirectX(R) 9.0c compatible 64 MB Hardware Accelerator video card and the latest drivers
- English version of Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000/XP
- Pentium(R) 4 1.4GHz or AMD Athlon(TM) XP 1700+
- 256 MB RAM (512 MB RAM recommended)
- DirectX(R) 9.0c (included)
- 100% DirectX(R) 9.0c compatible 16-bit sound card and latest drivers.
- 100% Windows(R) 2000/XP compatible mouse, keyboard and latest drivers
- 4Gb of HD space

I have no trouble playing it on High Detail / 800x600 / 4x FSAA/ Trilinear Filter.

My specs - Prescott P4 3.0 Ghz (OCed to 3.4), 512MB DDR400 RAM, ATI Radeon 9600Pro 128MB (Clock and memory speed OCed)

I'll get my new gaming-spec PC(AMD FX-55 with GF 7800GTX) after AS WOOHOO! Bring on Hi-Res games!

Those scumbags in the gaming industry are damn cruel la. Now I'm halfway through Quake 4, still struggling to find the right config for F.E.A.R., and now Call of Duty 2... How to pass AS??

SAT deadlines

I know it is kind of late to be posting this... but for those who are interested in taking the december SAT, the deadline is 28 October which was yesterday.

However, you still have until maybe around 11-12 this morning to register because of the time difference :P

This deadline is for SAT1 and SAT2...Most of us are taking math 2 , chem and physics for SAT 2

(I have not started preparing yet :( )

The Transporter 2 Review

Straight to the point, this movie is pretty cool, but in order to enjoy it the way its meant to be, you have to leave and forget all logic outside the theater, or imagine the movie is set in a different universe altogether running in parallel to our's. Believe me this movie brings the term 'over the top' to new heights.

In this parallel-world Miami, physics in non-existant. The main character, Frank 'The Driver' Martin, can do (a LOT of) ridiculous stunts, some of which are quite impressive to watch, while the others borders on annoying.. Frank (Jason Statham) is a natural butt-kicker, fending off attacking foes without pity. In one scene, he is surrounded by enemies (all holding weapons, while he is bare-handed), but he effortlessly swats them all away with minimum fuss (kinda like Neo thrashing all the Smiths in Reloaded). What is he, superman?? OK fine, the fact that hes an ex-Special Forces agent might make that a wee bit more believable, but where in the world did he learn the art of DODGING bullets with ease??

The driving scenes are equally overdone. Unrealistic manouvers(impossible to do in the real world), silly blurry effects, its all there. Apparently cops in Miami are all incompetent drivers, unable to avoid(or even minimise) crashes. Around mid-way through the movie, Frank pulls a crazy stunt with his A8. Tho it looks cool, nobody in the right mind would think it could happen in the real world. Even if physics allow that trick(which it obviously doesnt), not even the most trained daredevil can judge or even predict the car's trajectory as accurately as Frank did.

One can be forgiven for thinking its a 90-minute commercial thinly disguised as a movie, because in a way, it sorta is! The whole opening sequence was about showing off the Audi A8 W12, with the camera panning almost 360degrees around the car to show the tiniest detail. Personally I dont mind it, coz it is a beautiful car, by far the best looking high-end luxury car out there. If that was it, it would have been fine, but NO, they just dont know when to stop. In Frank's fridge theres three bottles of Heineken beer, all lined up and angled precisely to give the audience full view of the bottles' labels. Furthermore, virtually every character in the movie uses Nokia phones. Flip down the Audi's glovebox, three Nokia phones come to view. Is this overkill or what??

The acting is only so-so. Jason Statham really needs to attend acting classes to show proper emotions. Kate Nauta(plays Lola), while sexy, appears wooden. On the other hand, Amber Valletta(Allegra Cole from Hitch) was pretty decent playing a stressed mother.

But ultimately, the great action and driving scenes are enough to make the trip to the cinemas worthwhile. Not great, but not that bad either. Just keep in mind, forget logic and physics while watching it, and enjoy a decent action-flick.. All the thinking can come later.

My Verdict - 7 out of 10

three more riddles

You're in a rowboat floating in a tank of water. There's a big rock in the boat and you decide to drop the rock into the water. The rock sinks to the bottom of the tank. Does the level of the water in the tank go up, down, or stay the same?

A rectangular birthday cake has a single rectangular slice missing, and you want to divide what's left equally between you and a friend, with a single straight cut. How should you do this?

A soldier has been captured by the enemy and is sentenced to die. His captors say to him, " If you tell a lie, you will be shot. If you tell the truth, you will be hanged." How can the man save himself?

DOOM Review

Well first of all, and I'm saying this with real relief, Doom is the best video game-turned-movie ever made ever. And it is due to its original material. Doom is a very well known FPS (First Person Shooter) game. It had it all, awesome graphics, peerless gameplay, and exceeding fear, Doom was a major hit in the 90's. Last year, it got sort of a remake with (MUCH) better graphics called Doom 3. The game was also a success and elevated fan's anxiety towards a movie.

OK, now about the movie. The story deals around a research facility in Mars(a portal to Mars called 'arc' was discovered deep in Earth in 2126 - ridiculous, i know, but i didnt write story!) in the year 2146 that has been taken over by all sort of creatures, or monsters to be more precise. Special Marines are sent there on a mission to regain the station and wipe out the beasts. Ohh.. Gory..

The cast is great, with Karl Urban (Eomer in LotR) playing John 'Reaper' Grimm, a problematic, one-man-army soldier, and The Rock as Sarge (his character's name was never mentioned in the movie - mimicking the game where the main character is also nameless), a butch, classic bossy leader, with a hunger for blood and gore.

Plus, the gorgeous Rosamund Pike (the HOT innocent/kinky-looking girl from the last Bond movie) is a nice addition, playing the role of Samantha Grimm.

The plot develops really really slowly, giving the impression its a boring movie, but the pace picks up significantly near the end. The First Person Perspective Segment towards the movie's ending is FRIGGIN AWESOME!! Oh and the crew did a memorable job recreating the DOOM world. The atmosphere of the movie is certainly in tune with the game's. Outstanding.

2005 is really the first year where video game fans can sigh in relief and breath safely, because Doom is brainless, entertaining, seat wrecking fun. Doom is a ray of sunlight, which is actually ironic. The one dark video game-movie is the light at the end of the tunnel for video game fans.

My Verdict - 8 out of 10

Hey, here's some riddles... just found it to be really lame...

How many sides does a circle have?

Which does not belong in this group:
Apple, Grape, Banana, Cherry, Pear

No legs have I to dance,
No lungs have I to breathe,
No life have I to live or die
And yet I do all three.
What am I?

What is the longest word in the dictionary?

Lexus LF-A

This is the Lexus LF-A. Lexus unveiled the LF-A sports car concept at the 2005 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The two-seat concept blends the performance of an exotic sports car with the luxury refinements of a Lexus. Designed to express a bold new direction in styling for the Lexus brand, the LF-A concept is a vision closely aligned with the company's Formula One commitment to achieving superiority among its rivals in speed, quickness, agility and reliability. Obviously its not exactly the best looking concept car out there, but its a good start i guess. Considering the real car's design will be aligned with Lexus' L-Finesse Design Programme, i'd say its going to look pretty good. The latest Lexus IS and GS(both styled with L-Finesse -whatever that may mean) looks very good, with unique sporty artistic features. The engine choice is still not finalised yet, though Lexus/Toyota is determined to use an engine with the same configuration of those used in Formula 1. Test mules of this car has been spied using a small-displacement V10 engine, with output well in excess of 500bhp. But with the new F1 regulations -in which the sport will use 2.4 liter V8 engines instead of the norm 3.0 liter V10- the company might have to develop a new engine altogether.

Nissan GT-R PROTO

Nissan Skyline GT-R fans rejoice!! These are some pictures of the GT-R PROTO, one of Nissan's show cars at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show. An insider from Nissan said this concept mirrors the production version of the R35 Skyline GT-R(rumoured to be launched in 2007) very closely. Stunning!

Reports are that its going to use a 3.2 liter twin-turbo V6 producing around 480bhp. Awesome then, with Lexus/Toyota already well into the development of the successor of the legendary Supra, the future is bright indeed for the automotive world.

Some movie to ease your stress....

Well, this is mainly for broadband users only, dial-ups can click the play button if and only if they are very patient fellars who would just say "Good day to you Sir" when I give him a punch and a smack on his face :P

Another additional info

The more you study, the more you know. The more you know, the more you forget. The more you forget the less you know. Therefore, the more you study , the less you know.

If you want it in equation form , it's like this
Study more = know more ...1
Know more = forget more ...2
forget more = know less ...3

Study more + Know more + forget more = know more + forget more + know less ... 1+2+3

therefore, Study more = know less

so, dun have to study for your AS.

Cambridge Interviews!!!

People!

My cambridge interview is on the 20th of October! At 10.15 am in Taylors. And then the written test is on Saturday at Sunway College!! How to get there..... =(

How about Sao Lee, Jo-anne, Yau Chuan, etc etc... When are your interviews and do you have written tests?

All the best for AS =)

ENTRY STATEMENT!!!

tis is very IMPORTANT!!!pls do not forget to bring ur entry statement into the exam hall.ms tang gave it to us a long time ago so i jus wanna remind u all jus in case u all forget or have misplaced it.all the best for exam.gambateh!!!

Monday, October 10, 2005

Additional Info

Further insights into study methods for upcoming AS ;)

Equation 1:
Study = No Fail

Equation 2:
No Study = Fail

Equation 1 + Equation 2:
Study + No Study = Fail + No Fail

Factorise:
Study (1 + No) = Fail (1 + No)

Thus,
Study = Fail

Courtesy of Jo-anne

But.....Ashok strongly disagreed with the above proof and made his own formula :P which continues from before the factorisation ;)

Study + No Study = Fail + No Fail

Factorise:
Study (Yes + No) = Fail ( Yes + No)

But.... since (Yes + No) = 0

Study and fail can take any real value and the probability that Study = Fail is:

1/(infinity) = 0

Hehe up to you which proof you want to believe :P Maybe have to ask Le hong or Mr Peter ;)

Last Minute Study Tips :P

Combating Laziness in Studying for AS

Because our AS exam is like really really near, I did a bit of research to discover the secret of forcing yourself to study when you are overwhelmed by laziness. Dunno whether my research is reliable or not... you read and see la :P

I asked a few people for their opinions on this matter but sadly most of their answers were not encouraging. When asked the question 'How do you force yourself to study when you feel lazy?' they answered:

Shirley: aiyo don't ask me.. i also have the same problem

Wai Ken: you're asking the wrong person.. ask you better right?
( I think he meant me... dunno why though... i mean you all know I'm really dumb right??)

Le Hong: Go see your AS trial exam paper... then see the mistakes. You will feel sad, then sure will study.

Jo-anne: Go see a midnight movie and then on the next day lepak in SS2 until around 11pm.
(Hmm..dunno if I misquoted her or anything. Maybe its a special cure that only works for Jo-anne :P)

I dunno what conclusions to draw from the collected data, so I have no choice but to continue researching :(

Up to you whether you want to follow the above advice or not :P Okla... I'll go and TRY to study now. Bye!

Birthday Chart

Main post
Yep yep! I need a few ideas for the birthday chart. I should have done this months ago (was too shy to ask). Now, since we have missed lots of birthday already. *in deep regrets* -____-;; So, I need ideas; whether dark, kinky, deep, heavenly, etc. We are trying to make a variety of choices for everyone! I've done two already. Two very strange ones though. Hehe. I'll post it soon. Oh, yeah... I'll post the birthday list soon too so that I can double check, kay? That's about it. Yep yep!

Sub-post
Is anyone here a great fan of Cardcaptor Sakura? Hehe. I AM and I'm just too excited that 'Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicles' is finally out in ANIME!!! Why all the fuss? Cause Sakura and Syaoran are BACK!!! With a greater story!!! -^____^- KYA~!! The efforts of the 15-year-old CLAMP is now overly paid off! Almost every story come out right! Even one of their latest works, 'xxxHolic' has an extremely dark and unique story. The last book I read about them was about a cursed Monkey Paw (just the paw) stranggling someone to death. O__o;; Uhhh... But yeah, still a great STORY!!! Haha!! By the way, there are legends about the Monkey Paw, every wish it grants turns out terribly wrong. The legend was written by Mr. William (something) some years ago. ^^;; Hehe. I'll check again to give a more detail explaination.

Review on Tsubasa
Sakura is now a princess in a country called clow along side with her childhood friend, Syaoran who is investigating on the ruins of clow after the death of his father seven years ago. The princess, holds a really mysterious power, a power that spans through time and dimensions and was said that it can change the world. However, one evitable incident has caused her to lose this power along with all of her memories through her shattered wings, in which the feathers had taken flight to various worlds and dimensions. Now, Syaoran ventures to the worlds in search of the memories (feathers) belonging to Sakura. However, a price has to be paid for such power (or should I say, transportation? XD); Sakura's memories of Syaoran, his most treasured thing. With the strenght and the will to save Sakura, he travels with two companions, Fai and Kurogane also from different worlds only with different wishes yet to be granted and also with a cute little companion, Mokona (the awesome idolic rabbit, KYA~!). Will, they be able to find all of Sakura's memories? That's something I have yet to know! XD!! KYAAAA~!!!!

Japanese Gran Prix 2005

Kimi Raikkonen drove the race of his life to win the Japanese Grand Prix in an absolute stunner in Suzuka. Undoubtedly this is the best race i've ever seen(and i've been watching F1 since 1995).

The Flying Finn charged back from 17th on the grid with some amazing overtaking manouvers, including a pass for the lead on the last lap to take Giancarlo Fisichella of Renault into Turn 1. This feat is even more amazing as just around 10-or so laps before, the Roman was leading Kimi by 20plus seconds! This accentuates the pace advantage McLaren-Mercedes has against Renault.

The McLaren driver made contact with his team-mate Juan Pablo Montoya on the first lap as the pair tried to race through from back-of-the-grid starts - and was helped when the Colombian's crash brought out the Safety Car. The Columbian claimed that 1997 World Champion Villenueve simply pushed him out of the track, which led to his crash on the first lap. From the video replay, it appeared as if the Canadian insisted to follow his racing line, giving no room to the McLaren driver.

Raikkonen's efforts weren't enough to keep Renault from regaining the Contructors' Championship lead by two points with Fisi second and Fernando Alonso an incredible third. The new world champion put in some awesome passing moves as he too fought back from a poor grid position.

Michael Schumacher couldn't resist the little Spaniard around the outside of 130R(at more than 280KPH!) and later Alonso passed Mark Webber on the grass! Webber completed his most competitive race for Williams for some time with a fourth place ahead of a disappointed Jenson Button. The Brit was constantly challenging Fisi for the race lead throughout the first 35 laps. But as happened before, his BAR-Honda failed keep up the pace and he slumped to fifth. Still, its a reasonable result for Honda who partly owns the Suzuka Circuit. David Coulthard in a Red Bull Racing Cosworth car finished an impressive sixth.

was trying to load michelle's pic...

opps..... i have probs uploading the pics....

sorry.... i'll try again next time

Tomorrow is Puasa dude!! :P

Well, for u guys info, tomorrow is the fasting season for Muslims which is also known as Puasa. As preparation to devote himself to this sacred and righteous practice, our dear friend had done a few self-enlightenment techniques which he testified as miraculously effective. Its is an honor that he decided to share it with us...

It is imperative that you prepare the labelled 'tools'. It is the essence of everything.

A close up of the ingredients of self-enlightenment and self-discovering according to the self-declared 'Great Teacher'.

Now the process is complete, he feels 'enlighted' and even spoke an unknown ancient language which he claimed as the first language spoken by man. Truly a divine intervention is going on!! Now he's prepared for the Puasa and when asked what else he's gonna do next, he quoted "Oh hell with it, I need my food man!!"

PS: This article is for entertainment purposes only. The truth of the content is being researched. This is all mainly Hafriz's sugegstion btw :P

Thoughts to Ponder

1. Ever wonder about those people who spend RM5-plus apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backwards: NAIVE
2. Isn't making a smoking section in a restaurant like making a peeing section in a swimming pool?
3. OK.... so if the Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the "Jags" and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known as the "Bucs," what does that make the Tennessee Titans?
4. If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhoea...does that mean that one enjoys it?
5. If people from Poland are called Poles, why aren't people from Holland called Holes?
6. Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery?
7. If a pig loses its voice, is it disgruntled?
8. Why do croutons come in airtight packages? Aren't they just stale bread to begin with?
9. Why is a person who plays the piano called a pianist but a person who drives a race car is not called a racist?
10. Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety one?
11. If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked, and dry cleaners depressed?
12. Do Lipton Tea employees take coffee breaks?
13. What hair colour do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men?
14. It is often the case that students studies more when they're near a big exam. Now why do old people read the Bible more and more as they grow older? Cramming for their final exam maybe?
15. I thought about how mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks , so I wondered what do Chinese mothers use? toothpicks?
16. Why do they put pictures of criminals up in the Post Office? What are we supposed to do, write to them? Why don't they just put their pictures on the postage stamps so the mailmen can look for them while they deliver the mail?
17. If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?
18. Ever wonder what the speed of lightning would be if it didn't zigzag?
19. If a cow laughed, would milk come out of her nose?

more n more ques :P

haha..here got a few more questions for u guys :b not all math question...so...lets consider it as thinking skills questions.. ;P

1. What are the next two letters in this series: A E F H I K L M ?

2. Look at the number 8,549,176,320. What is special about this number?

3. How many letters are in the answer to this question?
HINT : Don't bother counting the letters in the phrase 'the answer to this question' - i already thought of

that, and its the incorrect answer! :p

4. solve this:

2 + 2 = 4
4 + 4 = 8
142 + 468 = 621
3762 + 8271 = ?

hehe..enjoy ya! ;p

Gundam Seed Destiny has ended

After a year of screening in Japan, the series Gundam Seed destiny has already ended, unlike the first series, the ending was a little too rush, it's better to watch the first series(Gundam Seed) first. The first series is already sold in stores in vcd but the 2nd only half.Watch it lahhhh, very nice 1....... Better than all those naruto....... U guys can also download through bit torrent at www.baka-updates.com . The whole story is about people fighting for peace....... World peace.......(it contradicts rite? fighting to get peace)

more math ques =)

heh...here's another math ques for u guys, think bout it :P

Just suppose that you have a large block of stone. While staring at this block of stone, it dawns on you that perhaps you should carve it into something. Luckily, you have a hammer and chisel handy.
But it's no ordinary hammer and chisel. Somehow, no matter how hard you hit the chisel, exactly one-half of one percent of the block chips off.
How many times do you have to hit the chisel before the block is less than half of its original size?

haha..have fun!! :b

Another Math question :P

Well, since you all seem to be in the mood to do math; why not try this question? ;)

1
1 1
2 1
1 2 1 1
1 1 1 2 2 1
3 1 2 2 1 1
1 3 1 1 2 2 2 1
1 1 1 3 2 1 3 2 1 1
??????????????????????????

the question is:
What line of numbers comes next???

4=5??

Theorem: 4 = 5
Proof:
-20 = -20
16 - 36 = 25 - 45
4^2 - 9*4 = 5^2 - 9*5
4^2 - 9*4 + 81/4 = 5^2 - 9*5 + 81/4
(4 - 9/2)^2 = (5 - 9/2)^2
4 - 9/2 = 5 - 9/2
4 = 5

Into The Blue

THIS MOVIE IS BORING!!

But 'somehow' I still enjoyed watching it.. No prizes for guessing why..

The plot is weak, and the acting way under-par. There were a lot of so-called "
plot-twists" but seriously every one of them were VERY predictable. So the whole movie turns into a tedious game of waiting for things that you know is gonna happen next..

There are a few aspects of the movie that saves it from being a total waste of time. Most prominently the impressive underwater shots and of course, the beauty of Jessica Alba(or Paul Walker for you girls, or gays).

My verdict - 4 out of 10 (or 2/10 if Jessica Alba isn't in it)

Some interesting online game

well...if u guys are bored enough.. here's a recommendation

dont get addicted though ( its not as fun as dota...i know...)

Enjoy !! :p
