Fu-Khate's Birthday

It's Fu-Khate's Birthday today! So my present for him -

Tongkat Ali Power Root! Looks like he might need it. It was Han Hui's idea BTW.. Don't ask me why. Probably they had some urm... 'unfortunate' accidents back when they were together.

So later after classes ended I conned him into believing that we had set up a party for him, with cakes, the girls and all - at the MyPlace Pool.. Hehehe we all know where this is gonna lead to, right? OH SWEET REVENGE!!! Muahahaha!!

Here we see him on the floor, where the group - Jieqiang, See Tho, Wai Ken, Shaun and Yours Truly - took off his shoes and everything. See Tho had his Precious phone.

Then all of a sudden he wrapped his massive King Kong hands around this pillar. So childish right? Tsk tsk... 18 years old already wor..

Tried pulling... But to no avail. Damn, his grip is extremely strong..

Took all of our accumulative strength to pry his arms open..

Five of us could only carry him to barely one inch above the ground, but that was enough to throw the Birthday Boy into the pool. I almost fell in myself, thank you See Tho for pulling me back!

And he's in!!! Cheh again with the childish behaviour, playing with water. Grow up will ya?

Knowing just how dangerous a King Kong can be when he's angry, we all made a bee line to anywhere far from him.

Aww... All wet.

But unfortunately I let my guard down too soon.. The primate grabbed me and lifted me up. So had to come up with another con - said his phone is in my pocket, and i'm free! My pants got pretty damn wet though..

So anyway.. Happy

Birthday

Fu-Khate!!!

Pics for Photo Flashback

Nature's wrath

March 9th marks the day nature reminded us that we are not safe from its wrath... all around subang, countless people suffered loss and unbearable traffic jam.. hmmm - all caused by the forces of nature...

"Talking about me ah? hmm?" ^^

No! What I refer to is real.. definately REAL... We (me, C2 - panda, waiken - prawn, hafriz - hyppo, saolee, qiang - lipas) went outta Taylors only to witness the destruction, the massive damage and chaos...
INTI suffers... while Taylors remains unscathed. Check out the roots man...

"My cousin!! Noo..."

SWT - Shut up... ok.. next pic... INTI takes another massive blow!!

Ow - is it a sign? Taylors will stand after INTI falls? But actually, the sign looks much better at that angle...
Another angle of the fallen tree... later some1 went up there to chop the branches off.. so enough of the tree - let us take a look at some cars...

Presenting the new look for the Volvo, stylishly dented to give you that special feeling that no other car will ever look like it.. ever. And let's take a look here, the new KIA model. This car boast its latest fashion in sun roof. Broken glass resembling scars on a human body only proves one thing.. this car is MACHO.

Overall, it was a great day - it felt almost like we were walking through a place where a war just ended. Casualties everywhere... And another note - the tree was rushed to the neared hospital for immediate attention. I managed to have a word with it and asked about its condition.

"I'm doing fine now, I would like to thank everyone for their concern and support through this tough time... Thank you."

Temporary post. For our class' movie director, Michelle.

Final Destination 3 Review

With each new outing, the Final Destination (an oxymoron if there ever was one) movies are technically getting better and more creative. Though strangely I still rate the first movie the highest - probably because it had a slightly deeper
plotline. Or maybe the films' relentless pursuit of creative mayhem and murder is wearing me down.

Things that make the third installment more easily digested than its predecessors: the best opening sequence of the series, actors (a very unknowed lot) whom acting school is not uniformly recommended, dialogue that is sometimes not laughable, and an ending that (finally) doesn't cheat. The main part of the movie is obviously the deaths - as with the past movies'. The fun with these isn't figuring out who is going to get it (partly because they make it pretty clear who's next), but how they're going to get it. Director James Wong approaches the moment of maximum bloodletting with a macabre sense of humour. Final Destination 3 replaces the unintentional chortles of its predecessors with intentional humour, and that's to its benefit.

Death - the ultimate serial killer - is on another rampage - hell yeah! But the poor guy needs to practice more with his scythe. He's got bad aim, and fails in his bid to kill a bunch of people in a roller coaster ride accident, so now he has to go to the trouble of offing them one-by-one, just like the first two movies - oh such originality. Admittedly, this allows for more variety and creativity, but think of the other dastardly things he could be plotting instead… There are ten unexpected survivors for Death to take down individually. I won't spoil them for you of course, but rest assured that each one of them are awesome and extremely gruesome! Those with weak stomach, beware! You might just be forced to empty your bowels.

There's enough creativity in the manner by which characters are dispatched that the movie keeps the viewer's interest until late in the proceedings, when the deaths come more quickly, are set up with less elegance, and are less of a spectacle compared to the others - though admittedly the others are truly works of art. I enjoyed the opening 15 minutes, which introduced the characters with economy and generated suspense before and during the doomed roller coaster ride. This is not a movie to see on the day before visiting an amusement park or even a fancy dinner as some scenes are just too obscene and they will haunt you for a few days - at least. The crash sequence is very well executed (emphasis on the last word). As the movie journeys into its plot-intensive phase, it becomes as dumb and improbable as Final Destination and Final Destination 2, but the killings keep coming to the very end.

No one from the other Final Destination movies makes an appearance here, although there are references to the events in the first movie. Death is the only returning 'character'. The plucky Wendy is played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who does as competent a job as one could expect in these dire circumstances. It never hurts to have a good-looking girl get most of the screen time. Seriously, never. Her male cohort is Ryan Merriman, who somehow looks familiar to me, but I can't pin-point exactly why that is. He's a generic good looking young male actor whose talent limits are not tested by what the screenplay requires of him. No one else leaves much of an impression - they're bodies waiting to be bagged, but hey, that's good enough for me.

Final Destination 3 gripped me probably more than the earlier films. It is put together with a modicum of skill. More of an attempt is made at character development and identification. The dialogue doesn't read like a compilation of clichés and howlers. And there's legitimate tension during some of the pre-death scenes. Sure, there's a formula associated with how they develop, but the fun lies in deciphering the way in which the specifics play out. In addition, there's a minimal reliance on "Boo!" (cheap scare) moments.

The recommendation for this film is as easy as they come. If you're a Final Destination fan, it's unlikely that #3 will disappoint. If you like horror/thrillers with plenty of cartoonish blood and gore, this will hit the spot, no doubts. Okay now, what are you waiting for? Go watch the movie!

My verdict - 8.5 out of 10

When Timeline Clashes (Mofolitic Age meets Today)

HUH?? What happens?? That ques must be playing ya minds rite now. So lets cut this short and go straight to the point.

We shall take our not so recently found Caveman from the Mofolitic age. Do not confuse a Mofolitic Caveman with a Mofo.
This is a MoFo, and he's not a caveman, he's a BADAK AIR. Notice his pride and prestige....his beer belly ^^

Ok, when a Caveman meets our civilization, of cuz the typical response is...

Yea.....UTTER SHOCK!

So, to blend in, he does shocking stuffs as well.....

Such as showin vulgar signs, each of his sentence has at least 2 vulgar words, gay with han hui (EWw, but now he jealous ledy and wanna revenge cuz Han Hui got diff target ledy lol!) and etc.

Today, he did his Chem practical with labcoats and SHORTS.

And after that....during lunch time...he discovered sumtin new, so here is the footage of his discovery.

Help... I managed to find a programme to make a movie besides the normal power point.

Well, I managed to finish the intro though but that's like 22 seconds? +_+;; After 3 hours understanding the whole concept of the programme.

The important thing is... I need to know how do you want the movie to look like. There are a few things that this programme is not capable of doing too. For example, it cannot animate more than 1 pictures in one screen. It has to come out one by one. I was thinking of using image editting programme to combine more than one photo to form one page of photos with some dormant effects. It's not animated... So, I'm worried that some may not like it. Further more, I need more music background (must be in mp3). Well, Shaun is willing to help, so I was hoping there will be more people who can help out in this as well. Other than that, more pictures are needed for a few people as well and some movie clips. So, please... pretty please cooperate with those who are taking the photos and videos, kay? Lastly, come out with ways to improve movie and ideas for it if possible. More heads are always better than 1. ^^- I'll try my best to edit when possible.

PS: It's the small version of it. Just to save space for the moment and it takes a long time for it to upload too. Grr...

Photo Flashback For Our Prom

I've been informed by the Student Council that for our coming prom (the date is tentatively on the 12th of June - the Monday after the last day of A2), there will be a 'Photo Flashback' session where a slideshow of our pictures will be projected onto a big screen.

Audrey, Deena, Jieqiang, Shaun and Zhao should be familiar with this matter as it's basically the same as last year's Prom Night's.

Naturally, we are required to come up with our own slideshow (preferably using Powerpoint). The pictures should be about our class - whatever we did together throughout the whole of A Level.

I believe Michelle should have a lot of our pictures, though I think we would probably need more, especially ones that have Ray-and-the-lot in it. So, we have to start taking pictures now.

Fu-Khate will handle individual face pictures as his camera-phone is undoubtedly the coolest in the class (damn him...haha). As for group pictures, well, anybody with cameras please bring them to College and blast away! Candid shots would be cool... So, urm, please be cooperative while doing this project - yes this part is especially for you two, Arun and Ashok! Don't hide!

If any of you want to include something like a favourite picture of yourself please do. But for the love of god, no revealing pics please (particularly for Bobby Hung)!!! On the other hand, embarrassing pictures are welcomed.

Any volunteers to design the slideshow?
