penang trip 8-10th sept

hey people... here are some brief info of our penang trip nex weekend!

date : 8-10th sept 07 (saturday till monday)
accommodation : marvista apartment (3 rooms) - rm180 per night...situated at batu feringghi (close to beach)
transport : zhao said not sure if he can drive or not @_@ we will need 1 car...anyone volunteer? XD
estimated departure time : 8th sept 8.30am from renyin's place if she dun mind
estimated arrival time : 12.30-1pm reach penang island

Ipoh Trip part 2 - the places~

continue from the previous post XD now...introducing the places we went...haha...

the 1st street puiyeen showed us...the "yee lai kai" (in cantonese).. direct translation in english should be "mistress street" la..hahaha..

and then...we drove past the Padang Ipoh also...got a huge lag there o___o

visited the ipoh train station...above the train station is a hotel...

the "kek look tong"...entrance to the gua...haha

at the end of the gua...there's an exit...to a nice peaceful garden...just like another part of the world XD

waiken walking on the stony path...good massage for out foot...lols~

found our way to "sam poh tong" after we left "kek look tong"...the entrance...

again...after an exit from inside the gua...there this...a tortoise pond...full of tortoise @_@

at puiyeen's place,some traditional instrument at the living room o__o

another one...bought from sarawak according to her...haha...

her staircase...alota soft toys :p

later at night...visited michelle yew...celebrate her birthday at 12am sharp...a group pic with the small birthday cake XD

Ipoh trip part 1 - FooD~ XD

27/08/07 - 28/08/07
4 of us(ken,hafriz,jq,me) visited puiyeen at ipoh,for 2 days 1 night XD
basically this is a food trip,so i dunno what i will post in part 2,haha...
below are the food we ate =x

1st day lunch right after reaching ipoh...popiah

and the same time,we ate custard...most of us dun like it...only waiken love it so much,lol

lunch 2nd round,ipoh chicken rice,we ordered char siew for hafriz as well....hahhaa :P

after lunch we went eat tau fu far...forgot take pic =x

then later in the noon we went coffee session...ipoh white coffee with toast XD lazy post pic..lol

i forgotten to take dinner pic oso @_@ ate nga choi kai + hor fun,great dinner overall...

supper time...jq's food...sausages with black pepper sauce i think...

hafriz's ice cream,double chocolate... waiken ordered the similar ice cream

my ice cream...forgot call wat name edi...haha...

puiyeen's one...single scoop...

and jq's one...i accidentally deleted the photo here...lazy upload d...nvmla...his one 4 scoops...LOL...he can eat alot...haha...

2nd day morning...went dimsum... the char siew pau

chee cheong fun...prawn wan if not mistaken...

lo bak gou...lol...

and we went for white coffee + toasts again before we travel back to KL...

overall...it's a nice n relaxing trip...spending great time with few of them =)

Ipoh?

To all 0501PE1! Pui Yeen is leaving at 29th of August. She is currently in KL and is due to return to Ipoh da weekend before the 29th. Pui Yeen and I suggest that we have a trip to Ipoh on the 24-26th of August. We can either drive dere or take bus dere but if we take bus dere it'll be hard to move ard. She said we can stay in her hse during our visit there. Our activity dere is basically go dere makan 99 and hang out ard dere n kacau Pui Yeen before she leaves for US. If anybody has any ideas of dropping by anywhere to lepak during this trip, pls suggest as well.

P.S. Pui Yeen wont be able to join any trip during Sept.

Singapore and Penang Trip

hey people... how's everyone? XD

Anyways,our august penang trip has failed since most of us are unable to make it sometime this month. But Jo is planning a Singapore trip next month on September,where we will be staying at her place and travel across Singapore one or two of the days. As Zhao's last paper will be on the 7th September(Friday),if possible,we try make of as early as possible after the 7th,probably from the 8th September till the 10th September? Suggestions needed from all of you,thank =)

And also,I will try to plan a Penang trip somewhere mid-late September as a replacement for the previous one. Hopefully by then all of you will be able to make it even though it's like 1-2weeks away after the Singapore trip,as most of us will be leaving back to UK end of September.
Suggestions needed as well. thanks again.. :)
