The Skeleton Key

Hi guys

Just came back from watching the Skeleton Key. It wasn't that scary, but the movie was interesting. I'll try not to reveal too much in case anyone wants to watch it. :P

The movie was really mysterious in the sense that I in NO WAY would have predicted the ending; and there are some parts in the movie that seem a bit strange when you first see it but make sense at the end.. and also some stuff that is a bit weird when you see it but still doesn't make sense at the end :P

But although I don't totally agree with the ending, it was a an ok twist to the movie. I mean hardly any movie nowadays ends in that way. The acting was good too. And the same guy from Flight Plan was in this movie too.

Kla... its very hard to review a movie without spoiling it for you people :(
I'll just end by saying its a nice movie to watch, but not that great. I wouldn't call it a "must see" movie.. but you can see it if you want ;)

Subaru Impreza 2006

I think the front looks a tad awkward with the three piece grille..





The interior is better this time, but still its nothing to shout about.
This is after all a Rally car replica so all out luxury is not expected..




The classic butch styling of past Imprezas is retained, although some parties have complained that the new look is too 'feminine'.. What do you guys(or girls) think?











Me, I'd say its a job well done by Subaru. The car looks fresh, and in my opinion its way better looking than the previous model.

We will have to wait a while to see how it fares against its natural rival, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX.

My First Post~~~

Hi everyone...my first post. As I'm very much internet deprived, I may not be able to post very often. Hehe. Anyway, enjoy ur day eveyone!! =)

Alonso is the 2005 Formula 1 World Champion!!!

With only 2 races to go, he has 117 championship points while his closest rival, Kimi Raikkonen, has 94. 23 points difference with only 20 left to race for.. All is lost for Kimi(damn), congrats Fernando, officially the youngest World Champion ever(24years 58days).

Juan Pablo Montoya won the race today ahead of McLaren-Mercedes teammate Kimi Raikkonen, the team achieving their first 1-2 finish in 5 years. Fernando Alonso of Renault came third, exactly the result he needed to clinch the title.

McLaren fans(like me) will be happy enough now that the Woking team leads the Constructors Championship by 2 points (McLaren-164, Renault-162).
All in all, great race for racing fans(maybe not for diehard McLaren fans), pretty eventful, especially the start where Antonio Pizzonia(standing in for Heidfeld) tangled with David Coulthard. Both were forced to retire, as well as Mark Webber who was unlucky to be close to the epicenter of the incident(his engine caught fire in the pits, scary but funny hehe). The much awaited rain did not come in time(it rained during the Podium ceremony).

I wish i can be on the Podium.. All the (wasted)champagne.. mmm

Arun's story:

It was the last day of the semester one exams, Hafriz, Wen kiat and Fu-khate bought alcohol to drink to drown their sorrow (dunno why they were sad.. they all so smart what..)
Anyway, they finished drinking (the third bottle was actually orange Vodka (Fu-khate's one) but he used com graphics to change it) and THEY PUT THE BOTTLES IN FRONT OF ME AND TOOK A PICTURE!!! Grrr....
(Proof: Note the shocked, surprised and utterly disbelieving expression plastered on my face)

I mean come on... I only took my first sip of 'teh ais' on Tuesday (20/9) and my first taste of maggi goreng on Wednesday (21/9)... Do you really think I'd drink alcohol??

Having framed Arun, my so called friends (=P) proceeded to attempt to frame me. They kept trying to put the beer can in front of me but I kept changing places and hiding from the camera. This shot was taken as I was trying to shift the beer can from in front of me. I did not drink anything from the can at all!! Hafriz was the one who bought it! Hmph.. mean people... I mean, you all know that I don't drink alcohol right??

Past year papers??

Good morning, everyone! I just woke up and again I went straight to my computer and logged on. Well just wanna share a site with my fellow classmates. I got this website from a friend in PM1. It contains all the past year papers and yes marking schemes is included along. MY Flightplan review..

Ashok beat me to it... so mean.. Oh well, im used to losing to him in everything else so okay la..

Anyway, totally agree with Ashok, this is an excellent movie! A lot of unexpected twists are present in the movie, kinda like 'The Sixth Sense'. But in that movie you will be like "WTF??" after the plot-twist. With this one youre hooked till the last minute! Every minute of it is interesting, the middle part even more..

Great cast too! Sean Bean(Boromir from LOTR) plays the ever present pilot.

And Peter Saargard(Garden State) as an air marshall.







Cute kid huh? Paedophiles will love this(ugh..)

This really is a great movie.. Story, acting, atmosphere are all top-notch. Kudos to Peter A. Dowling and Billy Ray

Flightplan!

Hey people.. Just came back from watching Flightplan. I think Hafriz wanted to write a review about it but, too bad, looks like I'm going to do it first. =P Seriously nice movie. And I don't mean nice just superficially. Not merely a lot of action and nice looking actors, etc, etc... The story itself had so many twists and turns that it looked like a cubic graph.. lol! Anyway, my point is some of the things you expect to happen won't happen, and many things that you don't expect to happen, will happen! A touching story too. And if any of you manage to correctly predict the ending, tell me ok? I want to congratulate you! =P Hehe... can't really go into the specifics. Don't want to spoil it for anyone. But I recommend this movie for all of you. A "must see."

Ok enough about the movie. Haha... just wanted to say this... That was a funny post Le Hong, how come suddenly got a robot intruding upon our blog? =P Ill try to invent it I guess, but will have to ask you to join our engineering team, otherwise no chance already. Thanks for the photo Wai Ken, nice addition to the blog ;-)

Something to share with everyone

Hi everyone. Just got home from college and I walk straight to my computer. Feeling a little tired and sleepy but yet i still use my remaining energy to surf the internet since i've been inactive for such a long time. I was bored so i tought i could drop my second post here in our class blog. From today on I will most probably drop a post daily if i have the mood and things to write. Maybe I'll start to get hook to blogging. Sound a little "jakun" ya? Anyway I thought of sharing a picture to everyone since Shirley was complaining that the blog is too dull and is filled with only words. Now here it is. This picture was taken in Shaun's when we were playing UNO after we went to 1 Utama. It was an enjoyable and exciting day. We actually hanged out the whole day from watching movie in the afternoon and then "lepak" at shaun's hse till 10pm. I still cant believe that we actually stayed to play UNO till 9pm and still not have any dinner.(haha) Anyway guys and girls, enjoy the photo.

This is a cosplay taken in Japan. This robot only exist in models, now it is already human size, when will the real size come out? We have to ask Arun and Ashok to design for us.( The real size is as tall as a twenty story building)

Driving in KL, and my first post..

Just got home(after almost 2 hours of bumper to bumper jam)... Driving around KL is friggin frustrating!! Anyone who drives will surely understand my detestation of driving home around 6 or later..
